Short-Term Mission Trip 短宣旅程

On the 10th of Jan 2020, a group of 11 people (including 2 kids) from both English and Mandarin service departed from Melbourne to Malaysia for a short-term mission. We spent about 6 days ministering to an indigenous group at various locations in Lawas, the north-east territory of Sarawak, Malaysia. This native is called Lun Bawang, an ethnic group found in Central Northern Borneo spread across in 3 countries including Malaysia, Brunei and Kalimantan, Indonesia. Most of the Lun Bawang people are believers; and are part of the Borneo Evangelical Mission (BEM) network pioneered by Hudson Southwell with two fellow missionaries Frank Davidson and Carey Tolley of Australia in early 1900s.
